As far as MC goes, Strategy #1 is below:
Exam Strategy 1
* Scan the number of questions and divide the
number by two. For example, if there are 54 questions, and you
have 60
minutes to
finish, you should be
around question 27 after 30 minutes.
* Divide the time by the number of passages. For
example, if you
have
four
passages to read and one hour to complete the exam, you should
allot
15 minutes to each passage.
* YOU must take responsibility for
managing YOUR
time on
the exam.
I'll see y'all tomorrow for TED Talk Tuesday...
Love and Light,
Beltran

ReplyDeleteExcited for another TED talk tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to start reading Outliers!
ReplyDeleteThose footnotes really messed me up today! Excited for the TED Talk tomorrow
ReplyDeleteThe footnotes categorical section of the practice multiple choice test today, most certainly would have been my demise if were truly participate in the actual AP exam. Today definitely was a help in my eyes. You learn new things each and every day. Amazing. I wonder what tomorrow will hold for us in the world of TED.
ReplyDeleteToday's song is a BOP. Corrine Bailey Rae is one of my favorite artists. I enjoyed the awkward dancing.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah great song. Coincidentally I actually was listening to that song on repeat for about 3 days last week and some of my friends can even attest to that because I sent silly videos of myself dancing by myself like the goon that I am. It was thoroughly fun and embarrassing. Whoever used that song for their black out poetry, I'd love to see it :)
DeleteExcited for the TED talk today! I always appreciate your enthusiasm to teach us Beltran, I hope Ava and I get to stay in period 3 family (:
ReplyDeleteDidn't realize footnotes were such a large part of the test!
ReplyDeleteAs always I can't wait for tomorrow's TED talk :))
ReplyDeleteabsolutely love Corrine Bailey Rae
ReplyDeleteI'm really excited that we're practicing multiple choice more and more!!!
ReplyDeleteand thank you Beltran for the super quick endnote lesson, I think those tips were really all we needed
ReplyDeleteI thought that being able to collaborate with our classmates helped me understand the answers and what the questions were asking a lot more than individually.
ReplyDeleteI am very grateful for this lesson today :)
ReplyDeleteThe cover of "Outliers" looks similar to the cover of "This is Water"
ReplyDeleteGlad were getting more practice in with multiple choice! Those things are tricky, especially working with footnotes, those definitly got me. Anyhow, I am glad I struggled today, will only help me get better and more prepared for the next challenge to come.
ReplyDeleteI just got Outliers I can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeleteGlad that we got an additional lesson on endnotes!
ReplyDeleteOn the multiple choice test I didn’t know anything about the end notes and what u taught us really helped! Thanks
ReplyDeleteThe footnotes were tough for me today so I’m glad we went over them and I also loved today’s mini lesson. I can’t wait for the TED talk tomorrow!!
ReplyDeleteM/C tests are not my strength. I need to stop second guessing myself
ReplyDeleteGlad you gave us the heads up on endnotes today. Looking forward to learn more during TED talk Tuesday tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteFootnotes for me, definitely need some work! But I personally love these multiple choice practices because it helps a lot knowing what to expect on a real AP test. As all endings to Monday's, I am left wondering what tomorrow's Ted talk will be about. Can't wait!
