Ladies and Gentlemen, Shawn Achor.
There are no words to convey the mastery with which this rhetor owns the stage.
Rewatch tonight and do some quality notes. Consider how your brain processes the world.
I'll see y'all tomorrow.
Love and Light,
Beltran

ReplyDeleteHe really was funny, but talked a bit too fast for my brain.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed today's TED talk, it was very interesting to watch and I can't wait to understand it more and use the advice that he gave us.
ReplyDeleteBest TED talk so far - the concept is so interesting, and the 21 days idea would be fun to try!
ReplyDeletethe rhetor was able to get in a lot of information, and a very powerful message in a short amount of time! i enjoyed the ted talk, and i would like to try the 21 day experiment. i don't know about the exercise part though to be honest. (joking, kind of) -satori jelden
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed todays talk and look forward to the presentations tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed today's TED talk, it was hilarious and kept me interested.
ReplyDeleteHumor now in my opinion is one of the best ways to keep an audience engaged! Not only was his TED Talk hilarious but it was informative and ingenious!
ReplyDeleteThis ted talk was great, but you definitely need to watch it several times to get all of the information and concepts he is telling us.
ReplyDeleteA very inspiring TED Talk today. It will be fun to see the effect the 21 day challenge has on us.
ReplyDeleteHopefully someone will appreciate the $0.75 i left in the vending machine... on my way to happiness! :)
ReplyDeleteI loved today's TEDTalk with this humor and his concept he was getting across.
ReplyDeleteIt was cool to learn about a study I have never heard of. I have experienced positive psychology in the past but did not realize exactly what it was until today. I will definitely be trying the 21 day challenge which Achor set for us.
ReplyDeleteI have been listening to Kanas City on repeat for the past hour, best song yet!
ReplyDeleteToday's TED Talk reminded me of the Documentary "Happy" on Netflix, I highly recommend to anyone that is lucky enough to have Netflix. The Documentary studies what truly makes people happy and not what a society's idea of what someone needs to be happy. Like the Ted Talk it recommends that you write down 5 things you are grateful for everyday. So you can focus on all the positives in your life rather than the negatives. I'm excited to try this idea and see what the outcome is. Thanks for another great TED Talk and song!
ReplyDeleteThe talk today really made me even more fascinated with the brain and the inner workings of what we call happiness. Very glad I got to witness it and share it's valuable information.
ReplyDeleteMost certainly worth the time, effort and intrigue to console to the attempt of the 21 Day Challenge, sponsored ever so intelligently by the one and only, Shawn Anchor. Let the games begin.
ReplyDeleteThe Twenty One Day Challenge, encouraged by none other than Shawn Anchor himself? That most certainly is a dandy treat worthy nibbling and sharing the sensational experiences with my fellow peers. Incomparable to other pathetic excuses for "challenges", as an example of the Chubby Bunny or Cinnamon Challenge. How disgraceful of this generation. Anyhow, I accept wholly Anchor. Game on and gear forward.
ReplyDeleteI have had Kansas City stuck in my head all day. Also I really enjoyed the TED talk and the depth of perception it went into.
ReplyDeleteI thought that this TED was uniquely interesting because i had heard of the happiness in your brain helps you function and work but i never knew that it was a study... (seems like it would have to be though). Overall i thought the TED today was one of the best so far. Your boyfriend really is amazing!
