Gotta say Aretha Franklin? Now that's the type of music I love to listen to! Although dancing is still pretty new to me it's a brand new experience I never had in any of my classes. Can't wait to see what's in store for tomorrow!
Never seen a TED talk but I'm curious to find out what they're all about. Loving the class so far. It's been the highlight of my day almost every day so far!
i was talking with trinity (while in that tiny room with your microwave, which by the way, i had no idea how to use those little knobs at first and i felt absolutely stupid attempting to heat up a bowl of noodles and it ended up being al dente...) about how i wished we had more room in the class instead of being cramped in that tight circle so i had more arm space to move and (attempt) to dance! anyways, sorry i couldn't say thank you loud enough when we left, but thanks for letting me heat up my food today. :^) -ashlee
I used to laugh at the idea of me liking ted talks. I could only picture the video of that guy just breathing and then people clapping ( https://youtu.be/vhCypQDusYI ). I have the ted talk app on my phone now because of this class. I send people ted talks regularly and they definitely laugh at me for it. Embrace it. Watch all the ted talks. Love them. Learn from them. Absorb them.
This class seems to emit positivity, which is always a good thing to have. I have enjoyed the past week in there and I'm looking forward to what's yet to come. -Esmeralda

I was lucky enough to go to a TEDx event this summer so I'm really excited about Ted Talk Tuesdays. Class was a blast today (as always). See you tomorrow!
I love starting the day with dancing in first period, it helps me wake up and be ready for the day! I’m also really enjoying your class so far and can’t wait to see where it leads me and the rest of period 1.
My friend Jay who recently graduated was talking to me on the phone and I was exchanging advice with him and used some sort of metaphor about life being a book and different stages being different chapters and whatnot. After I finish he goes and tells me: “Wow. Beltran is really doin you some good. She’s changed you; in a good way of course” I already feel myself learning as a writer and I’m excited to know more. Can’t wait for future TED Talks so I can grow even more.
I've always really loved watching TED talks for the entertainment aspect on my own. However, I've never really analyzed them but I'm excited to see what you can teach my classmates and I about how to take notes.
