Lovelies,
Tomorrow we will be discussing all things books. So here it is: Beltran's AP Language Book List - First Semester. I don't know how long I will keep this link active so grab it while you can. Either print it, copy it, take a picture of it, etc.
The expectation is that you show up to class tomorrow with knowledge of the list.
We will be working with it in class and engaging in the lesson: We Read.
Thanks for the attention today...The Circle Thingy, y'all. It's everywhere.
Love and Light,
Beltran

ReplyDeleteI read this comment and it instantly resonated with me haha. Junior year is definitely not generous with sleeping hours.
DeleteI am unfamiliar with most of the authors of this list besides a select few...but ready to learn all about them!
ReplyDeleteOh YES
ReplyDeleteUmmm where is Brown Girl Dreaming on the book list??
ReplyDeleteAlthough I've never been a "reader", this class has already helped me develop "open hands" and I hope that by the end of the school year, I will love reading because of how beneficial it is to grow one's vocabulary and knowledge. See you tommorow!
ReplyDeleteAmericanah is so good. Chimamanda Adichie is a TED Talk queen and an all around brilliant human person. I’m just going to leave this here as evidence. https://youtu.be/hrAAEMFAG9E

ReplyDeleteThis book list will definitely be one of the highlights of my whole Junior year and I cannot wait to dive into this pool of authors with ‘open hands’.
