Positively in Love with Appositives

First off, tomorrow: grammar and style lesson (Beltran version) focused on appositives.  Do as much (or as little) research as you want but know that we will be competing in teams...I would make sure you know what an appositive is, how you punctuate them, and their rhetorical and stylistic strategies. 

Secondly, read this juicy NYT article and learn.  Even if you don't like Beyonce, I'm sure you appreciate learning. (If the link doesn't work - I'm a subscriber - you can google the title "What Beyonce Won Was Bigger Than a Grammy".)

I will also be on the prowl for journals and Prom Dress notes tomorrow...
