Here's a link to the Princeton Prize I mentioned in class. If you're interested, check it out. And remember, capitalize on the APATHY of your peers.
Tomorrow be ready to present Stuff About Stuff, and just to see who's reading the blog, make sure your presentation falls under the theme of gratitude/gratefulness. Also, please have your info written on an index card or small sheet of paper for collection.
As you present, I will look through your flashcards on the prowl for those of you who do the age old trick of leaving some blank.
xoxo
I'm posting a comment because I'm hoping that you'll show this to the class.

ReplyDeleteEach of us has something within us which won't be denied, even if it makes us scream aloud to die. We are what we are, that's all. Like the old Celtic legend of the bird with the thorn in its breast, singing its heart out and dying. Because it has to, its self-knowledge can't affect or change the outcome, can it? Everyone singing his own little song, convinced it's the most wonderful song the world has ever heard. Don't you see? We create our own thorns, and never stop to count the cost. All we can do is suffer the pain, and tell ourselves it was well worth it.

I saw an ad that said," I lose my keys all the time!" and thought of Rocky.
